Sponsorship

  • How do I become a sponsor/exhibitor and what does it include? 

To become a beloved CDC 2018 sponsor or exhibitors, go on the Sponsorship page and download the sponsorship package document. In that document you will find details about the three different levels of sponsorship with the benefits they include, as well as the exhibitor options and what benefits that include. 

In the Sponsorship package document, you will find Sponsorship Application Form and the Exhibitor Application Form that you need to fill and send to events@aspect.bc.ca​

Registration 
​
  • I am a BCCDA MEMBER, how do I register? 

There is two ways you can register for the CDC 2018, via the bccda.org member portal or via the registration link

​

Via the bccda.org member portal follow these steps:

1) log in 

2) Click Event Calendar under Events

3)  Click BC Career Development Conference CDC 2018

4) Click the Register Now button 

5) Enter your Personal Information and Billing Address 

6) Click the Select Ticket Options, choose how many tickets you want

7) Click Assign Ticket, you will be prompted to choose the workshops you want to attend

8) Click Save

9) Press Continue

10) After selecting the payment method, complete the billing information

11) After hitting confirm payment, you are now registered.

12) You will then be provided with the receipt indicating the workshops you chose.

 

Via the cdc2018 registration link follow these steps: 

1) Click Register now 

2) Click Prefer to login using your account? link

3) Enter your membership email address and password, same as your member portal log in

4) Click the Select Ticket Options, you will be prompted to choose the workshops you want to attend

5) Click Save

6) Press Continue

7) Select the payment method complete the billing information

8) After hitting process payment, you are now registered.

9) You will then be provided with the receipt indicating the workshops you chose.

  • I am NOT a BCCDA MEMBER, how do I register? 

Via the cdc2018 registration link follow these steps: 

1) Click Register now 

2) Enter your email address 

3) Enter your membership email address and password, same as your member portal log in

4) Enter your Personal Information and Billing Address 

5) Click the Select Ticket Options, you will be prompted to choose the workshops you want to attend

6) Click Save

7) Press Continue

8) Select the payment method complete the billing information

9) After hitting process payment, you are now registered.

10) You will then be provided with the receipt indicating the workshops you chose.

  • How do I register for the workshops? 

Once you , you will be ask to Assign your ticket. In that window are listed all the workshop. You will be asked to chose which workshop you want to attend. Once you complete the payment, an email will be send to you with the information of which workshop you registered to.

  •  I am a presenter, do I need to register to attend the conference?

Yes! If you wish to attend the conference and its workshops, you will need to register through the registration link where you will be ask to enter your promo code. Your promo code can either be send via email or you can request it by phone. To get your promo code via phone, please call at 604-684-3638.

  • I am a sponsor, do I need to register to the conference? 

Yes! Becoming a sponsor has some great perks such as complimentary passes for the conference, however you still need to register the delegates attending the conference through the registration link. As it is complimentary, you will be ask to enter your promo code. Your promo code is sent via the confirmation email you will receive once you have sent your Sponsorship Application Form.

  • I am an exhibitor, do I need to register to the conference?

As an exhibitor, you are allowed up to two representatives per table. You will need to fill the Exhibitor Application Form at the bottom of the Sponsorship Package document and send it via email at events@aspect.bc.ca

 Accommodation

​

  • How do I book a room?

To book a room you have two options: online or via phone. 

​

Online:

1) Go to the Accommodation page 

2) Click the Book my room button, you will be redirected to the pinnacle website.

3) Select your dates and the room type you want 

4) Enter your information and Book.

​

  • Can I benefit from the special room rate if I want to stay longer than a night? 

Yes! You can enjoy the early bird rate of 179$ per room from three days before to three days after the conference.

​

  • When is the deadline for the early bird rate

The early bird rate deadline is February 5th 2018.

​

  • Is parking included with my hotel booking? 

No, parking is not included with your hotel booking nor the conference registration. There is parking available at the rates of: 

1) Hotel parking : $ 35.57/day

2) Valet Parking: $ 41.93/day

3) Go Park Self-Parking: $ 21 from 6am til 6pm

4) Go Park Self-Parking: $ 6 from 6pm til 6am

Awards of Excellence

​

  • How to nominate?

Go to the Awards of Excellence page and download the Nomination Package. Fill out the informations on the form and send it to admin@bccda.org

​

  • When is the deadline for nominations? 

The deadline is January 20th 2018 to nominate someone/yourself.

​

  • When are the awards of excellence being presented? 

The Awards are being presented at the 12pm lunch Tuesday 6th March 2018. Make sure to be present.

​

Cancellations​

​

  • Is there a Cancellation Fee?

Yes, There is a cancellation fee. Here is our cancellation and refunds policy: 

​

Refunds will be issued to written requests for cancellation received no later than 2 weeks previous to the closure of online registration. Refunds will be processed according to the following procedure:

  1. Requests must be received in writing via e-mail to admin@bccda.org.

  2. Registration fees, minus $55 (including GST) fee to cover the cost of staff and processing fees, will be returned to the registrant.

  3. Refunds will be processed in the same manner in which payment was made (a credit provided to VISA or MASTERCARD or a cheque issued by BCCDA will arrive via mail)* Please note it may take up to four weeks for cheques to arrive.

  • When does Refunds cut off?

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  1. Cancellations received less than two weeks in advance of online registration closing.

  2. Individuals who do not attend the event.

Substitution of registrants WILL be allowed in lieu of cancellation if BCCDA is notified in writing three weeks prior to the conference opening day.
